ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful piece to talk about. For those who are spiritual, this can mean so many different things for them. When I look at this I see a mother embracing her child after a horrible act has been done. I just wish it showed a little more emotion in her face.
ReplyDeletevery famous sculpture by Michelangelo. I think is one of the only ones that actually show the relationship between Jesus and Mary as more real than only Mary holding a baby. I like it a lot!
